About this Event

In this class, I’ll share my approach to creating portraits that serve as the foundation for my public art and large-scale installations. You’ll gain insight into how I choose my subjects and translate their essence into drawing.
Participants should bring their own drawing materials and, ideally, arrive with a portrait sketch already underway. We’ll focus on key techniques, such as shading and line work, while exploring the creative decisions that bring a portrait to life.
This is a relaxed, supportive environment where you can work at your own pace while receiving guidance, demonstrations, and answers to your questions. Intermediate-level drawing skills are recommended for this session.
