Drawing Skills- Improve Your Drawing Skills Today!
ABOUT THIS CLASS: Learn how to draw shapes and objects and ways to create interesting compositions using a variety of easy-to-do mark-making methods.
We will begin with fun line drawing exercises and complete both line and tonal drawings in class. This class is for anyone who wants to learn to draw or for anyone needing a good, solid drawing refresher class. Pencil, charcoal, and ink will be used in this fun, informative drawing class.
4 sessions/ Each session meets for 2 hours. (18 years old & up.)

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
- How to develop your sensitivities for light, shapes, and space.
- How to observe and draw shapes.
- Ways to use line and value to draw objects from nature
- How to incorporate basic 1 pt and 2 pt perspective in your drawings.
Students will be able to use the methods learned in this class on future personal projects.
Tuesday’s Dates: June 9, 16, 23, 30.
Morning Class section: 9:30-11:30 AM.
Supplies included: pencils, charcoal, and ink. Just bring your own drawing pad.

Leslie’s Teaching Creds: taught Painting: Oil, Acrylic, and Encaustic Classes at U.T. Austin, Contemporary Life Drawing and Painting, Dynamic Mixed Media, and Encaustic Art for The Austin Museum of Art’s Art School at Laguna Gloria, and founded and hosted Austin Full Monty Open Painting and Drawing Sessions for the Austin Visual Arts Association. Leslie holds a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and an A.A.S. in Video Game Art from A.C.C.
She serves as Co-Chair of Exhibitions on the Board of Directors of The San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild.
