About this Event

UPDATE: Each Saturday there are 2 classes:
12:00-1:30 - Urban Sketching Class
2:00-3:30 - Figure Drawing Class
* 30 mins break in between is to reach the location of the second class, talk, have some snacks.
I recommend to come for both as they are complementing each other.
Though, it is up to you to visit both or just 1 class!

Weekly tutored FIGURE DRAWING Class.
These lessons are for those who want to create for joy! You will learn & practice to draw human forms (in clothes) from observation with the medium of your choice. The class is for sketchers who is experiencing troubles with capturing human body proportions as well as beginner students.

The teacher, Ania Salmina (me), is a professional artist and architect with 20 years of visual art experience. I have a strong academic base in both: painting and graphic techniques.
Can't wait to see you in my class!

MORE DETAILS:
There will be a tutored session where I’ll lead you through the whole process. The lesson structure: warm up, theoretical part, observation drawing with my supervision, the show - final discussions for the session and personal strategies. We’ll try many poses for one lesson. And you will be drawn multiple times as well! Make sure you double checked the location at the evening before the event, as it could be changed if rainy/wet. On good weather we meet in a park under the shadow.
By the way, we take photos to share on Social Media, Meetup, email newsletter etc. Take a bunch!

The first class (1.5 hours) is by donation.
Starting the second lesson it is $15 for any 1 class
OR
$25 for the full 2-in-1 Saturday session: Urban Sketching + Figure Drawing (3 hours of drawing total).
To pay use [email protected](use password “sketchclub”) or cash
*you do not get charged automatically
PROMO: Invite a friend and get a $5 lesson (1.5 hours, your friend should be a new student)!
