Join Gemma Thompson on a soundwalk from Toi Pōneke Gallery to Central Park in Aro Valley, finishing at Inverlochy House. Participants will draw inspired by sounds heard on the walk. These drawings will then be transformed into simple dry point prints using recycled Tetra Pak. Dry point is an intaglio printmaking technique where images are carved into a plate, inked, and then printed under pressure using a press to create richly detailed prints. Tickets are $45. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favourite drawing tools and a sketchbook.
