Join us for our weekly Drawing Circles, where we come together to sketch and draw from a live model and learn from each other!

Overview

Join us for weekly drawing events where we'll explore the art of drawing from the human figure. Whether you're a seasoned artist or starting out, everyone is welcome to participate. Some materials will be provided, but also bring your sketchbook and pencils, and head over to Paul Robeson Gallery, Room 307, Express Newark, 54 Halsey Street, 3rd Floor.

During these in-person events, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and work on your drawing skills in a supportive environment. Every last Thursday of the month, we will also have invited guests and performances. Don't miss out on this chance to practice drawing from live models and hone your skills.

This project is part of the Drawing Room Installation. Inspired by historic drawing rooms—short for “withdrawing room”—this installation transforms the gallery into a contemporary space for reflection, conversation, and creative exchange.
