Visual arts classes in which we learn about different media and work on varied themes usually starting from scratch (Beginners-Intermediate)

During May we'll continue exploring drawing different subjects, perhaps we´ll start seeing some color theory, working with dry materials (colored pencils, pastels, ballpens). This is a projection, afterwards depending on what comes out and everyone's likes I adapt and re-set the classes. Only few vacancies are available!

I hope this will be an exciting online drawing and painting course, WAYS TO DRAW AND PAINT (WTDP),intended mostly to beginner and intermediate students, although if you are more experienced and want to review themes, you'll be more than welcome.

Each week we discoverdifferent techniques as you explore your creativity from the comfort of your own home. Among the media we'll be using are: graphite pencils and sticks, charcoal, sanguine and other chalk pastels, pastel pencils, balpen, oil pastels, indian/chinese ink. Obviously this will be gradual and we will decide in advance when it will be necessary to get a new material, you won't have to buy everything to join the course.

In the classes we observe some works of art, maybe I make little demonstration if necessary then you draw or paint the rest of the time from some reference image. Every class is different. We meet live on Zoom, they are NOT recorded previously. Of course, you have the chance to show your work on camera and get some feedback. Each class may last a little longer than 90 minutes depending on how many persons are registered though the vacancies are very few.

Among the subjetcs we explore still lifes, landscapes, animals, human figures and portrait and surely more... If you like to work more on abstraction and imaginary images, as classes go by, I might split the group to be able to work more specifically with everyone.

This all is an ideal, later in the classes depending on the interest of the group I always re-adapt the activities and media according to the majority.
