About the webinar:
In this session we aim to share with you our passion for drama centred, creative and kinaesthetic approaches to lesson design. Using a number of Drama Education principles, we hope to arm you with strategies that can be used to enliven any curriculum area and improve tangible outcomes for young people. This session will introduce you to a few of our favourites and hopefully empower you to take creative and practical risks when planning learning. Although this webinar has a focus on Drama, teachers from any phase or subject area are welcome to join!
About the speaker:
Guy Naylor is the Director of Drama and Performance at Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong and teaches Drama as a specialist subject in both the Primary and Secondary phases of the school. He joined Nord Anglia in August 2022. Prior to working in Hong Kong, Guy was a Head of Year and Drama Teacher at the British School of The Netherlands and worked as a Drama Subject Leader and a Head of House at the British School in Tokyo.
Guy originally trained as a Drama teacher in the U.K. and has 11 years classroom teaching experience in Drama and Theatre education. He has worked both internationally and in the U.K.
