Dragonfly and Damselfly Survey Day at Venford Reservoir

This hands-on survey day offers participants an exciting opportunity to learn about these fascinating insects while exploring the great outdoors at the picturesque Venford Reservoir.

• Meeting point: Venford Reservoir South West Lakes Trust car park
• Times: Start gathering at 9:45 am, surveys to begin promptly at 10:00 am. Ending at around 2:00 pm.
• Tickets: This event is free however please book your spot as spaces are limited.

Participants will get experience in odenata surveys around the site. You’ll have the chance to uncover species-specific habits, see various insects and learn from experts in the field.

• Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor exploration.
• Bring water and snacks to keep you energised throughout the day.
• Don't forget a notebook or camera to record your discoveries!
