The Easter Dragon Egg Hunt at Pontefract Castle is back for another year, and better than ever! Help Ilbert the Dragon find all his eggs on a special trail. Join in with different dragon activities throughout the week, including craft activities, storytelling and games. Ilbert’s Nature Discoveries on Wednesday 16 April is a day of creativity exploring the theme of nature! With drop-in crafts and bookable storytelling sessions there is lots for your little dragons to enjoy.
Take part in the Dragon Parade Day on Thursday 17 April. Take part in crafts, meet a storytelling knight and friendly dragon hunters. At 2pm join Ilbert as he marches around his castle!
There is something to entertain you every day. Most of our activities, including the trail, are free!
The Pontefract Castle team will also be running SEND families sessions during the week for those families who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere with restricted numbers.
It’s sure to be eggcellent!
