The Rusty Dragons are holding an information session for Beaches area residents (and beyond) to talk about dragon boating and its accessibility to people of all abilities, experiences, ages, genders, etc. It's located at Beach United Church just east of Kew Gardens on Queen Street. We'll explain all of our teams and what a typical team does to train once-a-week and race a few times over the summer. No experience is required! We also have ads coming out in the Beach Metro newspaper to advertise this event. Come get your questions answered and find an opportunity for you to join in on the camaraderie, exercise, fresh air, and nature as we paddle the scenic Outer Harbourbour between Tommy Thompson Park and Cherry Beach.
