Pasco’s Drag Queen Story Hour is back, at our safest location ever! Join us on October 5th, and every first Saturday of the month, for Drag Queen Story Hour hosted by Ms. Stephanie Stuart at Community Congregational Church!
Drag Queen Story Hour is a celebration of reading, crafts, and imagination, where children can see free and playful expressions of gender diversity, free from indoctrinating ideas of what a girl or boy “should” look like.
This free event for all ages will take place inside the safe and affirming walls of the CCC in downtown New Port Richey, in collaboration with Pasco Pride. Snacks and books will be provided. Families attending DQSH are encouraged to park in the church’s driveway on the side of the building and enter through the front of the church facing the water, without engaging with any protestors who may wish to disturb the peace. Your event organizers are skilled at physical and digital security as well as community safety, but we ask that all participants arrive with a shared commitment to de-escalation.
