With thanks to the National Lottery Awards for All we are pleased to offer FREE Dr Bike Health Checks.
Our Dr Bike Health Checks are drop-in sessions where people can bring their bikes for a safety check by a qualified cycling mechanic.
The session is not a full bike service or repair, but more like an “MOT” to make sure the bike is safe to ride. Mechanics will inspect the bike and explain any work needed to make it roadworthy. Minor repairs can be carried out during the session, including Brake adjustments and basic brake replacement. Gear adjustments. Cable replacement. Chain checks and lubrication. Puncture repairs or inner tube replacement. Tyre inflation to the correct pressure.
Last bike drop off 30 minutes before the end of the session to allow our mechanics time to carry out a full check.
