Join Recovery Bike Shop and Move Minneapolis for a group bike ride to celebrate World Car-Free Day!Sept 22 is World Car-Free Day, the day we celebrate (as a planet) all the ways to get around without a car. If you’re a regular driver, this can take some planning. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We’ll take care of your transportation, your social calendar, even your food.
Join us for a ride to Car-Free MSP’s celebration at Wabun Picnic Area near Minnehaha Park.
Gather at Gold Medal Park at 11:00am. We can help you plan a route to/from the park as well. We'll leave Gold Medal Park at 11:30am.
(Incidentally, Reco will be hosting Coffee (Outside) at the top of the hill in GMP starting at 10am and we will have treats to share.)
Destination: Wabun Picnic Area Shelter C (southern most picnic shelter)
Route will follow W River Pkwy along the Mississippi. You can join at any point along the route, but if you joint after Gold Medal Park, you must print, sign, and bring your own waiver (www.recovery.bike/waiver).

Ride will proceed rain or shine, but will be cancelled for severe weather.
Return ride to Gold Medal Park will depart Wabun Picnic Area at 2:45pm. Again, feel free to depart the ride at any point along the route.
