Ashtanga Yoga is a vigorous yoga practice with a set series of postures and it's roots in Mysore India. The led class will introduce students to postures from the "primary series". The series starts with sun salutations and keeps that level of energy throughout the practice. The practice increase endurance and flexibility. It's helpful to have had previous yoga experience for this series. Ashtanga yoga often includes hands on adjustment in postures.
