Downtown Melbourne Botanical Fest Rain Barrel Workshop

The Downtown Melbourne Botanical Fest is a family-friendly event that features lavish landscape designs, garden sculptures, flowers, plants, trees, shrubs, unique gifts, garden-themed art, rain barrel workshops, and much more!

GreenSpace Water Alliance (GWA) is pleased to host (3) Rain Barrel Workshops During the Annual Downtown Melbourne Botanical Fest.

Cost: The event is Free to attend. The rain barrel presentations are also free to attend.

GWA is offering an opportunity for attendees to purchase 55-gallon rain barrels at a discounted price of $55 (+Eventbrite fees). Space is limited; please RSVP (through the orange "Tickets" button).

• 1st Rain Barrel Workshop starts at 9 a.m.
• 2nd Rain Barrel Workshop starts at 10:30 a.m.
• 3rd Rain Barrel Workshop starts at 1 p.m.
• $55 fifty-gallon rain barrels will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Please prepay for your rain barrel through the online registration to secure a barrel on the day of the event.

Did you know that a 90 square foot section of roof can fill a single 55-gallon rain barrel within the first inch of rainfall? GWA Rain Barrel Workshop Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement

Waiver and Release of Liability:

In consideration of attendee participation in the rain barrel workshop event (hereinafter referred to as the "Event") organized by GreenSpace Water Alliance, all registrants and participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that my participation in the Event is voluntary. I am participating at my own risk and understand that there are inherent risks associated with the activity, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, and environmental hazards.
2. Assumption of Risk: I hereby assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participating in the Event, including but not limited to risks arising from the conditions of the site, weather conditions, equipment, and the actions of other participants.
3. Release and Waiver: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless GreenSpace Water Alliance, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, partners, sponsors and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or harm, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in the Event.
4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GreenSpace Water Alliance, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, partners, sponsors and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, including but not limited to any claims made by third parties.
5. Medical Treatment: I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary if I am injured or require medical attention during the Event. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all costs related to such medical treatment.
6. Photographic Release: I grant GreenSpace Water Alliance permission to use any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the Event for promotional, educational, or other purposes, without compensation.
7. Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by GreenSpace Water Alliance and its representatives during the Event.
8. Governing Law: This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

Registration Agreement: By registering for the Event, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Waiver and Release of Liability and agree to its terms voluntarily. I am of legal age and competent to agree to this document, or I have obtained the necessary consent of my parent or legal guardian.

GWA is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship, promoting biodiversity, conserving wildlife and wilderness, and ensuring that current and future generations have access to clean water and healthy, thriving environments.
