Join us at the kickoff Duncan Hines Days weekend in Downtown BGKY! Thursday, June 5, the fun begins in the afternoon and continues into the night of free events and activities for friends and families throughout all of Downtown:4pm: Fountain Square Vintage Car Show
The Park Row and Main Avenue sides of Fountain Square will be shut down to traffic, and open to special parking for classic cars, hot rods, or any special customs on wheels. It's FREE to participate - please share with your friends with cool cars. Sign up link coming soon.
5:30pm: Uncle Duncan's Summer Stroll & Roll walking and biking parade. FREE to walk, sign up link coming soon.
Beginning at the intersection of E 8th Ave and State St., winding up State Street, across Park Row and E Main. Ave., then back down College Street to E 8th Ave and the BG Ballpark Plaza, this is the return of the walk and wheels parade. No motors allowed! It's FREE to walk - bring your families, roller skates and blades, bikes and trikes!
6pm: Community Ice Cream Social at BG Ballpark Plaza, with BG Trolley tours hosted by Duncan
Ice cream and dessert food trucks await those who complete the Summer Stroll & Roll Parade and the Vintage Car Show -- and anyone else who wants to join the fun. The BG Trolley will be hosting free hop-on tours of Downtown led by Duncan himself. Get a discounted $10 ticket to the evening's BG Hot Rods "Duncan Hines" night and spend the rest of your night enjoying America's favorite pastime.
