Hey, don`t miss this live exhilarating evening of ultimate heartwarming melodies and immortal ghazals, being a tribute to Madan Mohan and the duo Kalyanji-Anandji. The event is being presented by Mumbai’s singing sensation Priya Karthik née Mahadevan. Accompanying her are the established singers - Shruti Raghavendran, Raghu Jha, and Aniket Prabhu with music arrangement by Senthil Kumar - Music Director of Kannada film `RIDE`.
This event begins with a song release to the glory of Lord Hanuman set to tune and sung by Priya Karthik. An alumnus of SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sion, Mumbai, Priya is classically trained and is a highly versatile singer, known for her ability to adapt to various musical genres. Since school days, she is noted for her warm sonorous voice and emotive forces, identical to that of Asha Bhosleji`s voice and style. She has recorded shlokas, TV jingles, ghazals, bhajans, and garbha songs which was for an album with Mahendra Kapoor and Sapna Awasthi. A Post Graduate in English Literature and Mass Communication, and a PhD in Psychology, Priya has lent her endearing voice for all the volumes of Navneet Publications (I) Ltd - Vikas Prakashan’s educational series, nursery rhymes, and story time cassettes. Priya was a Track Singer for Kavita Krishnamurthy, and has given stage performances with Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Sudesh Bhosle, Abhijeet Bhattacharya. She also worked with the media at Star Television Network in Mumbai and National Geographic Channel in New Delhi.
