Longer days, warmer temperatures, and the first flowers of the year mean spring days are near, and this festival has been designed to celebrate the coming season with an outdoor celebration of craft beers, mead, and wine.
Last year the CAC built new connections with local distributors, breweries, meaderies, wineries, and restaurants as they searched for the perfect mix of beverages and food for the festival. They learned what worked and what didn’t and are back with an enhanced experience including larger tasting cups, a community designed T-Shirt, better music for dancing, an improved VIP experience, and amazing, local, food and art vendors. Arts & Crafts vendors who are interested in participating must produce their own theme-relevant products.
General admission to the festival costs $45. VIP tickets are available for $100. VIP wristbands grant access to all General Admission festivities PLUS early entry at 12 pm, private restrooms, a branded t-shirt, and access to the GreyStone Amphitheater tower with delicious
food and additional drink choices. Tickets include unlimited samplings of beer and wine, but they do not include the food or crafts, which will be available for purchase. In the interest of safety and fairness, designated drivers will have a reduced entry fee of $10 and be given a special wristband when they enter the festival. VIP designated driver tickets will be available for $50 and will include all of the VIP benefits aside from alcohol. Prices will go up on the day of the event. This is an age 18+ event. Guests must be 21+ to drink. For safety reasons, there will be a clear bag policy at the festival.
Whether attending as a VIP or as a standard guest, visitors will enjoy the comradery and excitement that only a Beer & Wine Festival can provide; refreshing and delicious drinks, great company, tons of laughs, singing along to your favorite tunes, dancing like no one’s watching, and chowing down because the food’s never tasted so good. The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County, located at 8652 Campbellton Street in historic downtown Douglasville, Georgia, is open Mondays through Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm.
