It’s tree-planting time, so come join the hardy volunteers of Douglas Tidy Towns at Douglas Rugby Club (T12 KFT9, see map) at 10.30am on Saturday, April 25, for our April work party! We’ll be clearing briars, giving some previously-planted Hawthorn much-needed space to grow and making way to plant new trees too.Do your bit for nature by helping to maintain this beautiful and valuable wildlife corridor. All welcome, no previous experience necessary, and all equipment will be provided (weatherproof clothing and footwear recommended).
