Doors Open Day at Glasgow Print StudioFriday 19th September, 1.30–3.30pm
Step behind the scenes at Glasgow Print Studio and explore the fascinating world of printmaking.
Drop into our Archive Room to see prints made in the workshop by celebrated Scottish artists, including John Byrne RSA, Dame Elizabeth Blackadder RSA, Ken Currie RSA (Elect), and Alasdair Gray. Discover the plates, blocks, processes, and presses behind their work.
Our current members will be creating new work in screen-print, etching, and relief, with the chance to ask them questions directly. Short, informal tours of the workshop will run throughout the afternoon, giving you a rare insight into our facilities.
You’ll also be able to find out how to try printmaking for yourself through our evening and weekend courses.
Free and drop-in — all welcome!
