Join us at Stourbridge Glass Museum for a series of timed creative craft sessions designed to help children develop and create entries for the national “Under the Sea” Doodle Competition, in collaboration with renowned glass artist Allister Malcolm and The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers. These fun, family-friendly sessions are open to all school-age children. Participants will explore underwater themes, sea creatures, colour and pattern through hands-on creative activities while developing ideas for their competition design.
Children do not need to enter through their school to take part, although all competition prizes will be awarded to the winning schools.
The top three winning doodles will be transformed into real glass artworks by Allister Malcolm and his team, with winning and shortlisted entries also displayed at Stourbridge Glass Museum.
All competition details, entry requirements and downloadable teacher resources can be found on the competition page.
Spaces are limited and booking is recommended.
