Do you avoid props in class? Do you use props the same way in every class? Perhaps you struggle to trust a block. Do you find yourself looking around the room and wondering how people know how to use props but your body looks and feels different than what they have going on? Are you a new teacher who is looking for practical experience using and instructing with props? Join us on on Saturday 12/16 from 2-4pm with Leanne Messer (she/her) as we accomplish 6 main things:
1) Learn a healthy variety of options to use all sorts of props available in studio and at home
2) Experiment with props in a place where you can get support, feedback, ask questions, and find solutions that help your practice and your body
3) Take your practice to new places with the assistance of everyday tips designed to keep you comfortable, safe and injury-free
4) Enjoy a restorative yoga practice using props, taking what you learn and putting these techniques into action
5) Enjoy a slice of your life in a casual yoga setting with focused help as this class is limited to 12 students. You’ll have plenty of space to set yourself up
6) Leave confident with your new best friends, props and maybe a handful of Peacock students because learning is fun and so are we
Please bring a mat and water if you need. We will handle the rest! We have props for you.
