Don't Buy Trouble: A Lawyer Pulls Back The Curtain On Closing
Join us for an informative real estate event that's perfect for buyers, sellers, and residential investors. If you don't understand why you pay a real estate lawyer on a transaction, this meetup is for you! This month, we'll be joined by Michelle Macey, a real estate attorney with EMH Enterprises. You'll learn about the magic that happens in the background from decoding condo documents, poring over property leases, studying surveys, to scrutinizing settlement statements and parsing property taxes. Michelle can answer your questions and tell you when she suggests her clients should run, not walk, away from a deal.
Doors open at 6:30. We'll have snacks, drinks, and networking before getting started around 7.

Parking is available in the adjacent lot, east of the building. Due to construction on School Street, you can access the FACETS parking lot through the alley off Sacramento. Please do NOT park in the tag parking lot at the corner of Elston and Sacramento.
