For the second annual Don's Ohana Reunion fundraiser to Relight the Swordfish, we have added the world-famous Messer Chups band to the lineup!The renowned spooky exotica surf band headlines an extraordinary list of hulabilly and tiki artists including The Hula Girls, Thee Swank Bastards, Shorty's Swingin' Coconuts, the Lavanauts and Little Kahuna.
Our DJ will be Jim Bacchi from the Tikiyaki Orchestra.
We are debuting the Teliki Tiki Room adjacent to the Swordfish with concoctions straight from the Tonga Room in LA. The Teliki is a 1945 GI-inspired story of the birth of tiki from the war-torn islands of the South Pacific.
Food, auction items and a vendor village supply plenty of distractions between 2 and 10 pm.
Be there on Saturday May 30 when we Relight The Swordfish at dusk.
See the progress we've made on renovations since raising $5,000 last year, with the ultimate goal to display the iconic sign in a future 4th of July parade!
