About this Event
Join us for a transformative three-day professional development programme designed to empower school leaders and practitioners in Doncaster to elevate outcomes for pupils with SEND. This evidence-informed series moves beyond "bolt-on" strategies to help you weave inclusive excellence into the very fabric of your school culture.
Across three strategic sessions, participants will engage with expert speakers and peer case studies to bridge the gap between theory and impactful classroom practice
Programme Highlights
- Day 1: Leading an Inclusive School Culture (6.3.26) Explore leadership behaviours that shape SEND outcomes and develop a shared responsibility across your setting. Featuring expert speaker Margaret Mulholland on "Built-in, not Bolted-on" inclusion.
- Day 2: Re-imagining Inclusive Teaching and Learning (19.5.26) Dive into the EEF "5-a-day" framework and cognitive science approaches. We will focus on adaptive teaching, scaffolding, and evidence-informed pedagogical shifts with guest speaker Gary Aubin.
- Day 3: Sustaining Inclusive Excellence (6.7.26) Master the mechanics of effective implementation. You will begin developing a robust, flexible implementation plan to ensure improvements in SEND provision are sustained and monitored effectively.
