Join Marshall Health Network in observing National Donate Life Month this April as we honor the life-saving impact of organ, eye and tissue donation.On Friday, April 10, community members and staff are invited to attend a Donate Life Flag Raising Ceremony and participate in Blue and Green Day by wearing blue and green in support of donation awareness.
Ceremonies will take place at:
• St. Mary’s Medical Center
2900 First Ave., Huntington
9 a.m.
• Cabell Huntington Hospital
1340 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington
11 a.m.
• Rivers Health
2520 Valley Dr., Point Pleasant
11 a.m.
Each event will include a brief program followed by the raising of the Donate Life flag. Representatives from Marshall Health Network and Network for Hope will be in attendance.
A statewide Pause to Give Life will be observed at 10:03 a.m., recognizing that one donor can save up to eight lives.
Donor registration and information tables will also be available in hospital lobbies at select locations following the ceremonies.
