Is Don Bosco Technical Institute better for students? It is located at East Boroko, Taurama Road, Port Morsbey, and is offering different trade courses that other institutions out there offer. I strongly believe that DBTI is best for students because it not only teaches trade courses but also trains students to be students of competence and of character---so combining these with trade courses produces effective field workers. You may ask what is competence and character and why should students learn them rather than taking trade courses only. Competence is what makes DBTI the best institution for students. It is the ability to complete something successfully and carefully. For instance, an ATM machine at the bank was malfunctioning and the manager hired a technician to solve the problem. So, the technician went to the bank to the machine and fixed the problem. But the next day the machine malfunctioned again. He then hired a second technician and the second technician solved the problem. The machine has now been serving customers for almost a year. This type of technician has a high level of competence and most companies need this type of employee for its growth.
Another quality in DBTI that is good for students is character. It is the set of moral qualities and behavior that makes a person who they are. For example, by the time the interviewees arrived at Vision City, the interviewer had dropped some papers on the floor. Everyone bypassed the papers, but the guy who came late managed to pick the papers up and drop them into the trash. This guy who collected the papers and trashed them possesses the kind of character all companies need nowadays.
In conclusion, Don Bosco Technical Institute is regarded the best institution for students because it produces productive workers through competence and character. Students only learn how to troubleshoot jammed devices and didn't learn how to behave and act well in the workplace, do you think companies will want them?
