The Lisa Stano Medley is a Richmond-based jazz group with roots that reach back to the San Francisco Bay Area. The project centers on Lisa Stano, whose work as both vocalist and double bassist shapes the group’s sound, from jazz to soul, folk, and blues.The lineup also includes Jack Girerd on keys, Matt Woodhouse on drums, and James Copeland on saxophone.
Dominion Energy Jazz Café features free performances every Wednesday by some of the area’s best jazz musicians presented in partnership with the Richmond Jazz Society.
