Solo & together for an intimate summer afternoon..Voted Traditional Blues Artist of the Year’ 2022, 2024 and 2025 by the Sydney Blues Society, Dom Turner is guitarist, vocalist, and founding member of the legendary Australian blues group, Backsliders, as well as other acts including with The Rural Blues Project, The Turner Brown Band and with US blues legends Phil Wiggins, RL Boyce, Sunpie Barnes and Kenny Brown.
Dom has toured the Australian and international festival circuit since the 1980s, and has been invited onstage with various guitar legends, most recently in Sydney by Derek Trucks (The Tedeschi Trucks Band) at the State Theatre and The Allman Betts Family Band at Metro Theatre.
Picking up a guitar at age 14, Shane Pacey hasn’t put it down since. Known as an Australian Blues/Funk Legend with a stellar 4-decade career with Bondi Cigars, Foreday Riders, Pacey King & Doley as well as his "namesake" band the Shane Pacey Trio. Deemed to be a triple threat of guitarist, singer and song writer, he has long been a forceful, convincing singer, and a hard-attacking, razor sharp guitarist in the modern blowtorch style of Albert Collins, Joe Louis Walker, Larry McCray and other crazy stringbenders; he’s also an outstanding prolific songwriter, and there’s ample evidence in his tracks of his sardonic, savvy and slightly warped way with lyrics. Shane is also a stand out when playing laid back, heart filled acoustic tracks. When he’s around, you are guaranteed top quality musicianship served with a side of wry humour.
