About this Event
Come hang out with Dolly!
Join us for a Dolly Day on Sunday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. at Tap 65 where community members will come together for a lively celebration inspired by Dolly’s joyful, generous spirit. This event is designed as both a fun social gathering and an opportunity to learn how the Dolly Diamonds are spreading the sparkle throughout the Capital Area.
Guests will connect with current members, enjoy Dolly‑inspired conversation and activities, and discover how our group champions Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL). The Imagination Library provides hand‑selected, age‑appropriate, high‑quality books mailed directly to a child’s home each month—completely free to families. A child enrolled from birth receives a home library of 60 books by the time they turn five and enter kindergarten.
With more than 30,000 eligible children in the Capital Region, the Dolly Diamonds are committed to expanding access to this life‑changing program. At the meet and greet, attendees will learn how membership helps us enroll more families, support early literacy, and put more books into the hands of our youngest readers.
Help us spread the sparkle, grow our membership, and ensure every child in our community has the opportunity to participate in DPIL.
Dolly inspired costume encouraged. Food & drink availble for purchase.
