This show is on the Improv Shop Side Stage.
Dogbody is a longform improv team based in St. Louis, Missouri that delivers truth in comedy at every show. Each show is structured around a themed group (for example, "Jocks," "The Mafia," or "Monsters") coming to an improv class for the first time. Before the show, the individual performers come up with the broad strokes of their themed character, including costume, separately and secretly from each other. Once the show begins, we flesh out our characters and discover their relationships with each other as the "teacher" runs the class, wrangling the characters and leading them through shortform improv games. The audience gets to see these characters and their relationships develop for approximately 40-45 minutes, before the show is pulled on a high note.
Dogbody has performed regularly as both an Improv Shop House Team and at independent shows in the St. Louis area.
Ticket or Flyover Comedy Festival 4-Day GA Grove or Silver Wristband are required. Wristbands may be purchased at flyovercomedyfest.com. This show is for ages 21+.
