🐾🌿 Pets & People Outdoors: Dog Walk at Jacobson Preserve 🌿🐾Join us for a beautiful morning outdoors with your pup! Valley Humane Society is partnering with Chelan-Douglas Land Trust for a special Pets & People Outdoors Dog Walk at Jacobson Preserve.
📅 April 4
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Bring your dog, leash, hiking shoes, and a jacket, and enjoy a guided walk along the scenic trails while learning more about the outdoors and our canine companions. This will be a relaxed, community-focused outing where people and pets can connect with nature together.
☕ What to expect:
• A guided hike through Jacobson Preserve led by Chelan-Douglas Land Trust
• Pastries, hot coffee, tea, and cold water for both people and pups
• Local organizations and dog-friendly businesses tabling at the event
• Two short educational talks:
WVHS Behavior & Training Manager on dog behavior and body language
CDLT representative on local geography and native plants
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun outing with your dog, this event is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and connect with fellow animal lovers in our community. 🐕🌲
