Did you know that Peterborough Cathedral welcomes dogs? Come along on Friday 10 May and join Saving Saints with their big paw St Bernards for some dog love. You can bring your dog too if it’s happy around people and other dogs. We are celebrating the health benefits of companion animals on our mental health as part of Mental Health Awareness Week – 13 to 19 May 2024. This year’s theme is ‘Move’ – what better way to move than with your dog! Staff from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Trust’s mental health team will be on hand too to give advice on maintaining our mental health and wellbeing.
We can’t wait to meet you on Friday 10 May at Peterborough Cathedral but a word of gentle warning – St Bernards do slobber and love sharing their hair so no need to wear your Sunday best!
The event is free to attend although donations are very gratefully received with lots of petting and photo opportunities available.
