Come for the cocktails, stay for the cuddles — and maybe even leave with a new best friend!Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is teaming up with Honest John's for a Happy Hour Adoption Event and Donation Drive on June 20th from 12pm to 3pm at Honest John's Side Lot, 488 Selden St, Detroit, MI.
Here is what to expect:
- Same-day adoptions
- Donation drive
- Raffles presented by Honest John's and friends
Every sip supports Detroit's adoptable dogs and cats, and bringing a donation gets you entered into the raffle! Raffle sponsors include Casamigos, Detroit Optimist Society, Casamara Club, Bacardi, and more.
Most-needed donation items:
Blankets and quilts, bath towels, medium/large Kongs, cat and dog beds, dog/puppy food, cat/kitten food, cat toys, canned pumpkin, applesauce, dog crates, cat carriers, 6-foot leashes, Feliway cat spray, Fresh News litter, and kitten replacement milk (KMR).
Note: We cannot accept items with frayed edges, holes, fringe, table cloths, open weave or eyelet throws, or buttoned and adorned items.
