A free, 1-day experiential IN-PERSON workshop open to all year 1 to 6 UCLMS students interested in the intersection between culture and medicine!
The half day event, led by Sushrut Jadhav, Professor of Cultural Psychiatry at UCL with Sarah Wong, recent UCLMS graduate and PsychSoc member, will be a mixture of teaching, reflection and group work to help participants explore how their cultural identity may impact their practice of medicine, while learning practical tools to generate meaningful dialogue with patients around the topic of culture.
The number of participants will be capped at 14, and the deadline for registration is 15 July 2021 - any additional sign-ups will be added to a waiting list. Email Sarah at [email protected] to register your interest or to find out more.
