
About this Event
Relax the night before the weekend of the Cactus Classic Standup Amputee Basketball Tournament taking place on May 17 & 18th! Join us as we show the Documentary Feature, The Power of Sports for Amputees. This story follows three people with leg limb loss looking to participate and or compete in sports. With the right tools, their success is unlimited.
We'll have light fare and an opportunity to meet people within the Amputee Community!
The event will take place in the Conference room of Ability360. Doors will open at 5:30pm for snacks and networking, with the movie to begin at 6:00pm. The movie lasts 1 1/2 hours with a Q & A Panel to follow.
The Panel will include; Nick Pryor, an Athlete and Program Manager of Ability360 ; Jillian Okimoto, CPO, from Hanger Clinic in Phoenix; Marci Krown, Director/Filmmaker of the Documentary and others TBD. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 14th for our food count.
There is plenty of parking and accessiblity within the facility.
