ABOUT THE CLUB

If you love great documentaries and want to discuss them with others, we welcome you to our Club. We are a friendly, easy-going group who love to watch documentary films and talk about them. We strive to have engaging and intellectually stimulating discussions. We're here to learn, grow, broaden our horizons and connect with like-minded people. In 2025 we have some more great documentaries to watcha and discuss.

Our Docu Lovers Club will run monthly, online. It's open to all and you're welcome to join our sessions even if you haven't seen the film of the month.

ABOUT THE EVENT

We're kicking 2025 off with (2018), a documentary about the hidden dangers of medical devices and medical help. "A groundbreaking investigation into the crimes of the Big Medical," this insightful films sheds light on a very serious issue that noone should ignore or be ignorant of.

Synopsis:

The Bleeding Edge exposes lax regulations, corporate cover-ups, and profit driven incentives that put patients at risk daily. Despite having the most technologically advanced health care system in the world, preventable medical harm has become one of the United States’ leading causes of death. In The Bleeding Edge, experts explain the loopholes companies use to bring their untested products to market, and heartbreaking personal stories from those who have suffered from those devices put a human face to this underreported and devastating issue.
