About this Event
Aching for a break but struggling to carve out the time? Burned out and don't know where to start? Come enjoy some parallel play at Lore Leimert Park with Treats.
Bring your latest passion project (a book, a quilt, a puzzle, anything) and take in all the benefits of passive accountability. Ever wonder why working in a coffee shop feels so good? How kids can happily play separately together? Humans love to be in proximity with other humans. And dropping into a flow state is easier we're in a supportive environment.
Join us for:
1.5 Hours: Welcome, get settled, deep work
Find a nice spot, grab a snack, grab a drink and dive in. Feel free to share what you're working on with neighbors or simply take some quiet time for yourself for once this week.
20 Minutes: Mini break, socialize, optional stretch exercise
After being in flow for a while, we'll check in with our bodies and address a few needs. Take a minute to focus your gaze on something else, meet a new friend or join us for a few stretches.
1 Hour: Back into deep work, shift projects if you'd like
Back at it for another hour. Switch to another project you've brought or partake in something Treats. or other attendees have provided.
10 Minutes: Share out, workshop close
Share any progress you've made and how intentionally tuning in felt.
*Feel free to bring any activity that does not require special rigging or power tools.
*Alison from Treats. will have materials for a number of activities on hand in case you're not sure how you want to spend this free time.
*Space is limited to maintain an intimate and intentional environment. Good music and good company guaranteed :)
*Snacks and first glass of wine included with your reservation
Closing out Mental Health Awareness Month right - see you then !
