Současná evropská kinematografie, festivalové objevy, výrazné debuty i filmy, které se do běžné distribuce často vůbec nedostanou. 33. ročník Dnů evropského filmu nabídne od 9. do 19. dubna 2026 více než čtyřicet snímků z celé Evropy – v Praze, Brně, Ostravě i dalších městech po celé republice. V Praze promítáme v kinech Světozor, Přítomnost a Edison.Letošní program přináší výběr filmů, které letos rezonují na festivalech i mimo ně, a vedle nových titulů nabídne také poctu Paolovi Sorrentinovi, jednomu z nejvýraznějších evropských režisérů současnosti. Chybět nebudou ani debaty s hosty, masterclass a další doprovodný program.

Contemporary European cinema, festival discoveries, striking debuts, and films that rarely make it to regular distribution – all of this awaits at the 33rd Days of European Film, taking place from 9 to 19 April 2026 in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and other cities across the Czech Republic. In Prague, screenings take place at Světozor, Přítomnost and Edison cinemas. The festival will present more than forty films from across Europe.
This year’s programme brings together some of the most resonant European titles of the season and will also include a tribute to Paolo Sorrentino, one of the most distinctive voices of contemporary European cinema. Debates with guests, a masterclass and other accompanying events will also be part of the festival programme.
