Dundalk Music Collective keeps the momentum going with another lively night in Toales, as Porter Boys Social Club headline alongside local standout Róisín Ward Morrow. With doors at 8pm and just €8 in, it’s another no-frills, all-heart showcase keeping the town’s original scene ticking.
Porter Boys Social Club arrive with a growing reputation—and a story to match. Allegedly the result of a rogue South Monaghan experiment to revive the Celtic Tiger, the band instead leaned into chaos, pints and pure mischief. The result? A folk-punk outfit on a mission to make ballads loud, punk catchy, and debauchery fashionable again.
Expect grit, swagger, sharp humour and big choruses built for shouting back.
Support comes from Róisín Ward Morrow, the Co. Louth fiddle player and folk singer blending tradition with a modern edge. A Conservatoire-trained musician with international experience, she brings a more refined but equally captivating energy to the bill.
Another strong night at Toales, powered by Dundalk Music Collective—where the volume’s up and the pretence is left at the door.
Doors 8pm. €8 entry.
