On Tuesday, June 29TH, [most of these dance classes/dances will be on Tuesday’s] I will be DJ’ing the dance classes/dance. The dance lesson time frame is 30 to 40 minutes. During this time frame, a song type might be repeated up to 3 times. The cost is $3.00. These dance classes/dances are for seniors and mature adults [50 and up]. We now have K-Cup coffee and wrapped sweets. We will be having a class every week, but we may have another day given to us occasionally because of a major event [such as Election Day].
I will be playing from 10AM to 12 noon. The lessons will vary. While lessons are being given, those not interested in the lessons can get on the floor and dance. We will have a fun diversity of dance music to satisfy everyone, including country, ballroom, R&B, rock-n-roll, Latin, line dancing, etc. You don't have to dance them all. You can watch or do your own thing. There will be no prizes, no judgement, just fun. Even though this dance will be a social dance, we will play two regular tangos, as several social dancers like them. To request a favorite, just ask.
In time we could have some ballroom instructors and line dance teachers offering group classes.
