In honor of Earth Day, learn how to make your own non-toxic cleaning supplies to freshen up your home. Handmade cleaning supplies are easier to make than you think, cost-effective, and help reduce toxins in your home.Each participant will make and take a quart-sized jar of dry, non-toxic laundry detergent, and a glass bottle of non-toxic disinfectant spray, along with several non-toxic cleaner recipes they can make and try at home.

Community Instructor: Isabel Carter
Isabel started using her own cleaning supplies exclusively over three years ago, and is dedicated to learning how to reduce toxins in items we commonly use at home. She also enjoys cooking from scratch using fermentation and other ancestral methods, and teaches at a homeschool enrichment program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, and reading. She and her husband are currently starting their own small homestead where they currently have two sheep, a shepherding puppy, and even some quail.
