DIY Dressing & Dipping Sauce Workshop
Ready to spice up your meals and keep up those new year goals? Join us for an in-person, fun, hands-on DIY Dressing & Dipping Sauce Workshop at Oviedo Olive Oil on Saturday, March 21st! 🫒🥗✨
From 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, come learn how to create the cleanest, healthiest, and easiest homemade dressings and dipping sauces using our premium California Extra Virgin Olive Oils and artisanal balsamic vinegars. We will have a variety of seasonings that we have private labeled and are artfully packaged by The Spice and Tea Exchange of Mount Dora.
This interactive tasting event is perfect for home cooks, health enthusiasts, and anyone tired of store-bought bottles full of additives. Discover why fresh, high-quality ingredients make all the difference in flavor, nutrition, and simplicity!
What You'll Experience:
Guided Tastings & Education — Sample our farm-to-table EVOOs (fruity, peppery, herbaceous varieties) and flavored balsamics to understand their unique profiles.
Flavor Pairing Masterclass — Learn which olive oil flavors pair best with different acids (like lemon, vinegar, or our balsamics), fresh herbs, garlic, mustard, honey/maple, and seasonings for balanced, delicious results.
DIY Creation Station — Mix your own custom dressings and dips right here! We'll provide recipes, tools, and inspiration to whip up classics like:
- Zesty Coastal Harvest
- Traditional Garlic Herb Vinaigrette
- Citrus Tide Dressing or Dipping Sauce
- Simple Italian Dressing or Dipping Sauce
- And more — all clean, no preservatives, and super easy to replicate at home. Or let us make a custom crafted bottle here in store to take home!
Health & Tips Focus — We'll cover why EVOO is a heart-healthy superstar (monounsaturated fats, antioxidants), how to achieve the perfect emulsion, storage tips, and ways to make your sauces versatile for salads, veggies, marinades, or drizzles.
