With a live runway show put on by Black Tallahassee creatives and students, DIVINE TIMING explores the concept of afrofuturism.

Afrofuturism is a look at society through a Black cultural lens. Pulling inspiration from African American history and African traditions, afrofuturism explores ideas of a future through mediums of fashion, technology, and science fiction.

Afrofuturism displays a future that the Black community could have if we banded together as one , and work to build a society that nourishes and uplifts us all.
