A gorgeous double header as we softly collide dreamscapers Leaf Library and psych-folkers Fuzzy Lights together on Weds 1st April - both acts are touring the UK for the first time in a while and we're delighted they can play for us on the same night! The Leaf Library are a north London band playing melodic dream-like music built on layers of chiming guitars, pulsing electronics, noise and looping drones. Their fourth studio album, ‘After The Rain, Strange Seeds’ (produced by the band and mixed by John McEntire), is released on Fika Recordings in March. This is their first Oxford show for a very long time!
Cambridge's acclaimed twisted psych-folk quintet Fuzzy Lights return to Oxford hot on the heels of their fifth album 'Fen Creatures'. Following 2021's critically lauded 'Burials', the band have created their most conceptually ambitious work to date - a meditation on environmental crisis that uses the folklore and history of East Anglia as a lens to examine humanity's fractured relationship with the natural world.
More news soon but grab a ticket for this sublime show! Doors from 7:45pm at Common Ground on Weds 1st April Fool's Day!
