About this Event
Join us for an eclectic programme of classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and commercial dance, performed by Northern Ballet School. Divertissement features both Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Bournonville’s Flower Festival in Genzano and Petipa’s Paquita are interspersed with original contemporary choreography including Gavin McCaig’s Bellwether Suite which premiers on the 11 March at the Opera House Manchester as part of Ballet Nights. To complete the evening, Tribe through electrifying Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial and Tap choreography explores what it means to navigate challenge, adversity and self-discovery, ultimately uncovering the strength that comes from living and moving as one, transforming the stage into a living, breathing community where individuality and unity collide. The show may not be suitable for very young children - Parents/Guardians are suggested for children under the age of 12.
