We will begin by introducing ourselves and discussing our agenda for the workshop. Participants are invited to identify their learning objectives, which allows us to design the workshop experience specifically for them.

Defining Diversity
Included as part of the session will be discussion regarding diversity, affirmative action and the Equal Employment Opportunity.
Understanding the Impact of Diversity on Individuals
Each member will explore how their changing world presents opportunities and challenges for themselves through these activities. In this process, the participants will use used self-awareness tools that will help them to identify their strengths and areas of growth in their skillsets.
Recognising Stereotypes
In this session: learn how to explore stereotypes from all angles. enjoyable lectures and thought-provoking group discussions are all part of the experience.
Mindful Language Usage
What are some examples of linguistic shifts as society changes? What taboo topics in conversations generally get swept under the rug – with some ‘acceptable unacceptables’, if perhaps not standard polite conversation, along the way? What insider advice is at hand to help you navigate such situations with relative ease?
The Cornerstones of Diversity
Diversity is the reality of all organisations, so let’s go a bit deeper in exploring it. We’ll be joined by Armida Russell, Amy Tolbert and Frank Wilderman through the four enablers that work to create diversity; learning to accept differences between members of a team members ensuring they are seen through a common lens members understanding each other’s perspectives; and members changing behaviours.
How to Discourage Diversity
In this forum we will identify four traps. Give examples of what can be done to create an environment in which everyone can be successful.
The STOP Technique
The stop technique, which was developed by the diversity expert Lenora Billings Harris, provides four steps to assist individuals in stopping undesirable behaviour. stop 2.wavwill be introduced through lecture the stop [technique] of solving behaviour problems.
Managing Diversity
We are going to analyse different ways those managers and employees might utilise to make work a place of diversity.
Addressing Discrimination
We’ll end by looking at how you – both as a manager and as an employee – can best respond to discrimination.
Wrapping up the Workshop
By the end of the course students will be encouraged to formulate their questions and come up with a plan, on how to succeed.
