For the 11th gathering of Diversity in Leadership we have an exciting opportunity to learn more about the Emerson Somos group.**Where:** Emerson Innovation Center – Buzbee Auditorium

**When:** Thursday, November 14th, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
We’ll kick things off with a presentation, and then we’ll have a chance to share updates from our networks. As is our tradition, we usually have a potluck to celebrate the end of the year. We would love for us to pick a different date for our celebration during this meeting—maybe the first week of December? We can also chat about our plans and goals for the coming year.
If for any reason, you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to share any upcoming events or volunteer opportunities, please feel free to reach out. We will make sure it's shared during the meeting.
Diversity in Leadership is an informal gathering that started in March 2023, with a goal of creating a supportive and inclusive environment, guided by the belief that Marshalltown benefits when leadership is inclusive and diverse.
Watch for future opportunities to host ongoing gatherings with other groups, as well as partnering for more formal presentations/trainings with other Marshalltown organizations that share the goal of empowering diverse leaders.
