Free Open Studio Classes for Kids through 6th grade are held the first three Saturday mornings of each month from 10 to 11:30 AM. Instruction and supplies are provided for the kids’ classes, but the children must be accompanied by parents. CIAA Art Director Jordan Denato leads these Saturday activities with help of other artists, parents, and volunteers.Central Iowa Art Association is located in Heinz Hall on the campus of the Iowa Veterans Home 1301 Summit St. Marshalltown, IA 50158. Parking is available outside of Heinz Hall next to the entrance on the east side of the building. The parking lot is near the Central Iowa Art Association sign that is in front of Heinz Hall.
