Gregory Crosby is the author of Said No One Ever (2021, Brooklyn Arts Press) and Walking Away From Explosions in Slow Motion (2018, The Operating System). His most recent chapbook, Parallax Days, was published last year by above/ground press. He teaches creative writing at Pace University, and is currently the poetry editor for the online journal Bowery Gothic.
Lauren Morrow is the author of the novel Little Movements, which was named a Best Book of the Fall by People, Oprah Daily, Los Angeles Times, Bustle, and more. She studied dance and creative writing at Connecticut College and earned an MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan's Helen Zell Writers' Program. She was a Kimbilio Fellow, an Aspen Words Emerging Writer Fellow, and the recipient of two Hopwood Awards, among other prizes. Her writing has appeared in Ploughshares and the South Carolina Review. She worked in publicity at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and is now a publicity manager at Dutton, Plume, and Tiny Reparations Books. Svetlana Satchkova is a Russian-born journalist and novelist who immigrated to the United States in 2016. She covers culture and politics, with bylines in the Rumpus, Newsweek, LARB, the Independent, and others. Svetlana has published three novels in Russian; The Undead: A Novel of Modern Russia is her English-language debut.
Deborah Shapiro is the author of the novels Consolation, The Summer Demands, and The Sun in Your Eyes (a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice). Her latest book is Watching the Detective. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, Sight Unseen, Chicago Magazine, Literary Hub, Washington Square Review, and elsewhere. She lives with her family in Chicago.
